AUSTRALIA
Australia is an incredibly diverse island, continent, and country- both culturally and geographically speaking. The widely recognized “Outback” takes up the center of the giant island, but most other areas contain everything from rainforests, to mountains and canyons, to world-famous beaches. Nearly all of Australia’s population lives within 50 miles of the coastline. The country is now a mixture of modern cosmopolitan culture and ancient Aboriginal traditions. The cities of Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney are scenic and thriving melting pots. The country itself deserves many trips of discovery, or at least a two-week hiatus to explore some of its key places.

NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand is a country of stunning and diverse natural beauty: jagged mountains, rolling pasture land, steep fiords, pristine trout-filled lakes, raging rivers, scenic beaches, and active volcanic zones. These islands are one of Earth's most peculiar bioregions, inhabited by flightless birds seen nowhere else such as a nocturnal, burrowing parrot called the kakapo and kiwi. Kiwi are not only one of the national symbols – the others being the silver fern leaf and koru – but also the name New Zealanders usually call themselves. These islands are sparsely populated, particularly away from the North Island, but easily accessible. There are sparklingly modern visitor facilities, and transportnetworks
are well developed with Airports throughout the country and well-maintained highways. New Zealand often adds an adventure twist to nature: it's the original home of jet boating through shallow gorges, and bungy jumping off anything high enough to give a thrill. Māori culture continues to play an important part in everyday life and government and corporate symbolism with abundant opportunities for visitors to understand and experience both the history and present day forms of Māori life.

EUROPE
Europe covers an area of 10,180,000km² (3,930,000 square miles), stretching from Asia to the Atlantic, and from Africa to the Arctic. European countries welcome more than 480 million international visitors per year, more than half of the global market, and 7 of the 10 most visited countries are European nations. It's easy to see why - a well preserved cultural heritage, open borders and efficient infrastructure makes visiting Europe a breeze, and rarely will you have to travel more than a few hours before you can immerse yourself in a new culture, and dive into a different phrasebook. Although it is the world's smallest continent in land surface area, there are profound differences between the
cultures and ways of life in its countries. Must-visits include France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Don't let your sense of adventure fail you by missing out on Scandinavia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Portugal or the microstates of Andorra, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. For a more exotic European adventure, be sure to tour the Balkans.

JAPAN
Japan is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean with dense cities, imperial palaces, snow-capped mountains, diverse national parks and thousands of shrines, fascinating ancient temples and mind thrilling sandy beaches. Shinkansen bullet trains connect the main islands of Kyushu, Honshu and Hokkaido. Tokyo, the capital, is known for skyscrapers, shopping and pop culture. Japan is truly timeless, a place where ancient traditions are fused with modern life as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

CANADA
Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Major cities include massive Toronto, west coast film center Vancouver, French-speaking Montréal and Québec City, and capital city Ottawa. Canada's vast swaths of wilderness include lake-filled Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains. It's also home to Niagara Falls, a famous group of massive waterfalls.
